Autumn Leaves

The leaves are falling pretty colors:)

Tomorrow Lovisa goes to Spain and Nina goes France for a week with their language classes. FUN!!! My spanish class got to go to a little Mexican restaurant down the street to order in Spanish:) Well I'm going to miss them and hope that the classes have a blast.Today I had Biology where we got to go look at trees in a park in the city. We had to look at some trees to see if there was fungus growing on them and clasify in what class they were in. Intressting stuff...Tonight was another episode for Idol 2008 for Sweden. Amazing!! It was guy night. Rasmus, Elias and Johan(the 14 year old) were definitely my favorites from the guys.

OH and then there was Gossip Girl and The Hills...Soo much drama!!!!

Great Song from 21!!

Monday

I started off the day going to cooking class at Anders Ljungstedts Gymanasium, this week we get to make vegetarian food, and then I got to ride my bike over to Katedral to have Chemistry where we had a lab with sourkrowt. yummy... After that we got to have Physics. Today was pretty much preparing for the big test my class is about to have. I got to leave a little early to go to our schools weekly meeting for all the exchange students to just check up on us to see if we're all ok and having fun. I got to leave school at 3:45ish(15.45). Thats when I got to catch up with one of the rotary chairmen to receive money for this month! Yay! I got to go to over to Lillgårds Skolan to pick up my cousin up from school. \/Where I saw this happen(Scary!!)\/

I ended up getting to make dinner for Calle. Ulla didn't come home till around 7:30 and Anders wasn't going to come home until Wednesday??

Happy Birthday Erik & Theo & Maria

Out of all 365 days in a year, 3 people in my class seem to have the same birthday in the range of only 2 days!! How crazy is that?!?!

Today was a simple day of school starting at 9.20 and ending at aproximately 17.00. Being a little bit sarcastic. I got to end the school day with my favorite class ever, cooking class:) I experimented making pretzels and mexican soup. The soup was good, but the pretzels I beleive needed a little more work.

After school I got to go home to relax a couple of hours before I got to head out for movie night at a friends house. We ended up seeing a super sad movie called "The Secret of Words" and ended the night with the fabulous "Bridget Jones Diary." A wonderful Friday night:)

A good day...

Today was actually warm. Amazing, I know :) It also happened to take the great Math Test. It was hard for me, but it also seemed to be hard for my class…But today was going to be fun, other than that awesome situation :) Today I got to go fika w/ one of my good friends, Cici, and another guy from my class, Theo, at Espresso House, but on the way to Cici’s house there was a rainbow on the Scandic hotel in Linköping and I couldn’t help but to stop to take a picture. Oh, and I definitely got to go to the grand opening of Gina Tricot(an amazing store here in Sweden). And out of all places they thought Linköping should have the biggest store in the Nordic countries. I got to speed home to make it in time to have dinner and go to the hockey game tonight. On the way home I thought of how in Texas if I was to be in a hurry home with my car, I would most likely get a ticket or get my license removed, but here if I’m in a hurry, I get to break a sweat. But anyways :) I ended up going to the LHC hockey game, where there were to breaks, both being for broken glass. Twice in one game and ended with a tie(3-3), fantastic! Oh and then I got to meet my mom’s old golf friend, Eva, who she went to America with to go play golf. I haven’t met in years and all of a sudden in the booth right next to me. It was pretty cool:)

Good Day

One Class Wednesday

Today was a pretty day in Linköping. I was worried in the beginning. When I woke up all I saw was (hey, saw backwards is was!) fog outside , but the sun ended up coming out! Every wednesday I have only one class, Chemistry, and it starts at 11:30. It's always nice to have a day to relax:) Ann:)

Cheezy...

I took a picture of the lake I pass by everyday while I ride my bike^
Yesterday was fun. School was pretty tough, but when class was about to get out a crazy band, called BondeKapellet, went through the school making alot of noise, something they called music. Just Kidding:) They were really good!
Last night me and two other swedish girls were invited to go to Brontes to have some fatty American food. The great Mac'n'Chesse and Grilled Cheese Sandwich. Soo Good!!!
Just about a few hours ago now I got back from training at Feel Guud and now i'm trying to watch Gossip Girl and the computers going crazy and will not let me. I'm actually kind of sort of flipping out!! Well, I will continue to try!

My Almost American Weekend

Yesterday started with me and the girls elite golf team of Linköping had a dinner night at my friends house, Natalie. She was too cute. She cooked dinner for everyone. It ended up becoming a Taco Night. We pretty much talked about golf all night:) We played a cool game kind of like charades, but not, and then we ended the night singing cool songs from when they were kids.
Today me and my family started the day of with my cousin going to work for the first time ever in his entire life at Sagoland(a toy store), did I mention that he's only 7 years old. So while he was working, me and Ulla, my aunt, went shopping and Anders, my uncle, played in a fun little golf tournament. Golf, golf, golf, and some more golf. After we picked up my cousin we went up home to change and then went to the greatest movie ever, WALL-E. Soo Cute!
After the movie, my family invite me to have dinner at a little restaurant in Linköping called Texas Longhorns. It made me kind of proud to be from Texas:) I had nachos and fajitas. Muy Bien. The wall was written on by famous people, people from different countries and quite a few from Texas, so I asked if I could write on the wall......AWESOME!!!

OREOS

Today I had the one assignment that should of been super easy to do, but of course I would forget. The homework was to bring cookies or some snacks to eat with coffee or tea, they call it "fika" here in Sweden, something that doesn't exist in USA. I ended up getting out of class to go to the store where I found Oreos, the super unhealthy american snack:) So while I brought store bought cookies the other two people that had the same assignment brought delicious homemade muffins and cookies. Tonight was also the premiere night for Linköpings Hockey Club and they won!! Exciting:) Thats always a good way to start off a season. Ann:)

Feelguuuud

The title of the blog is how swedish people pronounce Feelgood. It's really funny whenever they talk about it, I'm always the only one laughing. Feelgood is a gym here in Linköping that me and my aunt have now joined, and today was our first day to go.
Today was my easy day at school, kind of. I have one class, Chemistry, but today was the day they had their test, I was there trying to answer anything. It took 15 min. for me to say that there was no way. It was pretty much rediculously hard.

Yesterday I got to go to one Rotary meeting with Bronte, California Girl and then a Roteract meeting. We got free food, so it was alot of fun, for me at least;)

Just Another Week...

Just another week, yah right:) Wednesday was crazy. I played a golf tournament with all the sponsors for Linköpings Hockey Club(LHC), where I was pretty one out of 5 girls there. There had to be about 85 there to play in this tournament. I got to play with Jan Hlavac who is the the new hockey star on the team, hes played in NHL.
School on the other hand, I have my first project actually due this week. I'm not that nervous, I'm just hoping that my class will understand what I'm trying to say.
Friday night I got to go catch up with another exchange student from Australia. She couldn't stop talking about how much she loved sweden, and she can already speak fluent swedish. She's been here for 6 months since Australias school year starts in January.
Saturday I went in to town for a Ford Models Search Show thing, because one of the guys in my class made it to the finals. He was amazing and totally thought he was going to win but he didn't...But it was alot of fun though:) Bronte ended up coming over to hang out, and then later that night I went out with some friends to Ågatan. I didn't get go to bed till 3ish.
So now it's a Sunday and I got to go to the theater with my grandmother. I had no idea what to expect, and what I saw I never saw anything like it. It was a play written by Anthony Neilsson, so it was super deep. Until next time,
Ann
