Don't Be Fooled by the Blue Sky!

My plan for this morning was to take the bus, but the sun ended up shining so I rode my bike instead. As soon as I got outside I noticed the saddle on my bike was covered in ice from last night. Not exactly the coolest thing ever, well close, maybe;)
By the time I got to school, I was happy to go into a warm building. It turns out that everyones getting sick now...soo sad...4 people were missing from just my class.
On the menu for dinner were the delicious Waffles! Its right up there with pancakes:)

Skypers!!

Last night was a good night to socialize with family & friends home in Texas:)
*Funny Quote By Buddy(guy on bottom right)* If I had a nickel for every person who asked to look at their
blog I would have 5 cents by now.

Popcorn&SwedishCandy

Yesterday I ended up only having psychology, where we got to learn of gross techniques to get rid of mental illnesses from the 40's. The funny thing about this was that we saw the same movie I saw when I was in psychology las year, when I was going to SCS. Weird!!! We got to learn about phobias and OCD too. Well after the "long" day at school me, Lovisa, Klara, and Jessika, walked into town to have lunch and go some shopping. *Funny story: Jessika was explaining how Klara, Lovisa, and Einstein were born late. Then I asked who Einstein was. At the exact same second all three of them looked at me w/ the exact same stare. Then I felt stupid, I thought there was someone in our class nicknamed Einstein or something. Didn't exactly feel awesome when they were actually talking about the Genius Einstein:)* Oh well..like goes on and I learn from my mistakes;) Last night I ended up having some friends over for Idol 2008 and Sex and the City. It's always nice to take a break from a long week...Today I'm feeling its another good day to be spent on applications...

High School Musical=Britannia High

Britannia High is a show thats aired in the UK and is pretty much high school musical in a show. Its definitely a new favorite:) I usually don't watch that much TV;), but I thought this earned its own post.

Yesterday and Today

Started the day off rushing out the door to make it to my physics class, where not much happened. Most of the people in my class i think were stressing out about the math test today. We got to have a little break with fika(break for coffee\tea and pastries) again. It's going to be weird going back to Texas where its not exactly normal with fika. I had language history and then math, where it took 10 minutes finally figure out that it wasn't going to work with the whole math test thing. So I got to leave early:) But my goal for this month, other than finishing all my applications for college is definitely trying to learn and understand their math. Tonight for dinner was the wonderful swedish pancakes. For sure the greatest thing possible. I ended up getting to make them. Not exactly the prettiest pancakes ever made, but they were at least eatable. Thats always a plus.

Yesterday I only had 2 late classes so I got to sleep in a while, but when I woke up it didn't feel like I slept in at all. First chemistry then Swedish class(its for people that swedish as a second language). I had a huge break b\t those to classes! An entire 2 hours to do whatever, so I thought why not after 10 years of not understanding minesweeper learn today. I got the honor of being taught by the master himself Theodore Nilsson:)...In swedish class we got to tell stories in front of the class all in swedish. Some told fairytales, some told their own fiction stories, and some true stories. They were all great. The only thing worse than waking early in the morning for school, is leaving from school late where its black outside. Now it's geting dark at just 16.30. Not much other than that happened.

Rain, Rain Please Go Away

As soon as I got to school today it started to rain, so I just got to hope on that the rain would leave before I had to go home, but why would the rain want to go away? It felt like the rain just felt like pouring harder than ever when we got to leave. Cute picture to the left. Its Fredrik and Lovisa, I couldn't not take a picture. I was supposed to be at school today from 8:10 till 17(5 P.M.) today, but because there was an open house today at school my last period class from 2 to 5 was cancelled:) If it wasn't raining it would have been a wonderful day. Me and Klara shared a rainy bike ride home to her house where we found Theo creeping by the window. We got to make a yummy chocolate cake, and played some awesome Dance, Dance Revolution. Too cool for school. It's been a long while since I played. I think the last time I played was actually at Allisons house, before I left for Sweden. I'm quite sure actually. Oh, the yearbook came out. The swedish yearbook is a little different than the senior portrait, school team, and prom queens yearbook we have in Texas. It includes every Gymnasium(High School) in the Linköping area. Not as personal. Here's a sweet picture of my new class:)

The Stink Eye
Juno MacGuff: Your little girlfriend gave me the stinkeye in art class yesterday.
Paulie Bleeker: Katrina's not my girlfriend alright? And I doubt she gave you the stinkeye that's just how her face looks, you know? That's just her face.
& The Crazy Alfalfa
just a few of the many styles of Theo...^
Thank You for the Gifts!!!
The magazines from myfriends & the warm clothes from the parents:) I can't wait to be updated by the new news and be warmer by the warmer clothes! Thank you soo much, I love you!
Today was some a normal school day, with Chemistry and Physics. So Sweden has something called the ball, pretty much the swedish version of prom, but it's a little different. It's completely organized from morning to night and the dancing part is completely choreogrphed. Well it turns out that all the exchange students can have a part in this dance thing, so to be apart of this you need to have a date and sign up both as early as January to begin practicing...Different subject now, today it got pitch black by only 5 P.M. today. It's getting darker!

Day in the City

This morning I woke up early to meet Lovisa and Nina in town. I was worried, because on the way i started feeling sick. Great! I know:) I ended up feeling better after a great cup of tea. Cute story: My cousin had a cute double date right after I left to meet them in town(did I mention that he's seven years old). Now I'm totally ready for tv and a movie the Bronte of California:) We watched Indiana Jones....
...and the EMA's(and Katy Perrys many outfits).

Why Aren't Swedish People Fat?

The wall of candy...
Last night was spent at my house, where I had four friends over to bake Chocolate Chip Cookies. Fun Fun:)

Brrrr...

The day I came back I was pretty much in shock by how it looked, I might of actually been in a tiny stage up depression. I can't believe it can actually be this cold. I thought it was cold before...The day we came back my cousin went back to school and my aunt and uncle went back to work(the same day we got back). I ended up offering to have the honor of walking outside to my cousins school to go pick him up. On the way I took a picture>>>
OH and the stuff that looks like snow is just rock, thank goodness:)

I'm Back

10 days in paradise! I've just got back from Las Palmas Wednesday. It took a while, but we made it:) We ended up missing our flight Tuesday morning from Las Palmas to Madrid. Thats where it all started. We got to Madrid later than we had planned and ended up having to have dinner, where I thought I ordered calamari. It turned out to be small squids thrown on a plate. And it looked just as gross as it sounds! Since that night I haven't been able to eat very well.... Now I'm back in Sweden, and I thought it was freezing a month ago, now by the time I get home, after riding bike, I can't feel my legs. It took alot of talking to, to even make me think about riding my bike to school.

What did I do there? Well have the time I was sick, not so fun. The trip was spent to relax and have some sun before we get shocked by all the cold. Now I have a tan and I'm cold:) Awesome.
